The Hamilton Ticats had a successful tryout camp in Florida.

The club announced on Wednesday that they signed four players from the camp.  Joining Hamilton will be import defensive backs Jacoby Watkins and Tyrone Sanders as well as import receivers Adrian Madise and Prechae Rodriguez.

"Anytime we hold a camp our goal is to find guys who can come in and improve our team," said general manager Bob O'Billovich. "Our Florida camp was very competitive and helped us find two receivers and two defensive backs, who definitely have a great opportunity to help our team out this year and in the future."

Watkins, a 6-0, 180-pound native of Laurinburg, North Carolina spent time on the Miami Dolphins practice roster last season.

The 24-year-old played four seasons at North Carolina where he recorded 137 defensive tackles (103 solo), three tackles for a loss, one fumble recovery, 13 pass knockdowns and 2 interceptions.

Sanders, a 5-11, 178-pound native of Dallas, Texas played five games with the B.C. Lions in 2005, registering one interception.

The Texas Christian University product has also spent time with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, NFL Europe's Cologne Centurions and two Arena Football League teams.

Madise, a 5-11, 215-pound native of Lancaster, Texas was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round (158th overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft.

Following his stint with the Broncos, Madise gained pro experience with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins as well as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.  The 28-year-old is a former college teammate of Ticats quarterback Casey Printers.

Rodriguez, a 6-4, 208-pound native of Tampa, Florida played three seasons (2005-07) at Auburn where he recording 38 receptions for 530 yards and two touchdowns in 36 games.
