The Calgary Stampeders signed receiver Ken-Yon Rambo to a multi-year contract extension on Tuesday. As per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
''There's no place I'd rather be,'' said Rambo. ''I love it here, I love where this organization is heading, I love the guys in this locker room and it was an easy decision to commit to the Stampeders.''
Rambo joined the Stamps as a free agent in May of 2005. The speedy receiver has averaged more than 50 receptions per season since then. Last season, he set career-highs with 62 receptions, 983 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches.
''Ken-Yon is a proven playmaker in the CFL,'' said Stampeders' head coach and general manager John Hufnagel. ''He is a key part of our offence and I look forward to working with him this year.''
