The BC Lions have agreed to terms on contracts with import wide receivers Anthony Russo and Otis Amey, the club announced on Wednesday.
Russo, 24, joins the Lions' squad after excelling at the University of Washington from 2004 to 2007. The 5'11 receiver had 49 catches for 766 yards and five TDs in his senior year before signing as an undrafted free agent with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks.
Amey started his pro career with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2005. The 27-year-old also spent time in the AFL.
The club also announced that receivers Eric McCain and Dereck Faulkner have been released.
