The Edmonton Eskimos signed a trio of players on Tuesday, including non-import offensive lineman Adam Rogers. The team also announced the signings of imports Xzavie Jackson and Tumbo Abanikanda.

Rogers, 23, played in the CIS with the Acadia Axemen last season. He was a first-team CIS all-star in both 2006 and 2007, and attended training camp with the Eskimos in 2008.

Jackson, a defensive lineman, spent the last two seasons on the practice roster of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles. The 24-year old attended the University of Missouri and originally signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as a free agent in 2007.

Abanikanda played last season at Southern Mississippi as a linebacker. He recorded 84 tackles, with two sacks and one interception in 13 games.
