MONCTON, N.B. -- The Canadian Football League has confirmed the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will host the Calgary Stampeders at this year's Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic event in Moncton, N.B.
City spokesman Ian Fowler says CFL commissioner Mark Cohon wanted to give Atlantic Canadians advance notice of who was coming.
He also confirmed the game will take place Sunday, Sept. 25, with a 2 p.m. kickoff.
Tickets are expected to go on sale sometime in March.
Last year's game sold out in a matter of hours and drew 25,000 people to the Stade de Moncton to watch Toronto play Edmonton.
