The B.C. Lions have added import defensive back Jerome Dennis following his release from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats earlier this week.

Dennis, who played with the Lions from 2007 through the 2009, was dealt to Hamilton prior to the 2010 season. He suited up for all 18 regular season games for the Ticats last year racking up 54 tackles and two interceptions. He has added two tackles in two games this season.

Dennis has appeared in 63 games recording 83 defensive tackles, 32 special teams stops and two interceptions over five CFL seasons.

The Lions also announced that defensive back David Hyland has been released by the club.
