The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have reacquired defensive back Geoff Tisdale, swinging a trade with the Calgary Stampeders to land the 26-year-old.

In exchange Calgary will receive Hamilton's third-round draft pick in 2014. The Stampeders also sent their sixth-round pick in 2014 to Hamilton as part of the deal.

Tisdale spent the first three years of his career in Hamilton before signing with the Stampeders as a free agent in 2011.

The Pittsburgh State product recorded 35 tackles and four interceptions in Calgary last season. Through four years in the league, Tisdale has accumulated 163 tackles and 15 interceptions.
