Stampeders sign veteran defensive back Kornegay

The Calgary Stampeders have signed veteran defensive back Tad Kornegay.

Kornegay has spent seven seasons in the CFL with stops in Hamilton, Saskatchewan, and BC. He has twice won the Grey Cup - with the Roughriders in 2007 and the Lions in 2011.

Kornegay played 15 games last year in the regular season, recording 39 tackles and two interceptions. In 106 career games, he has 134 tackles, seven interceptions, and three sacks.

The Trenton, New Jersey native has spent seven seasons in the CFL.
