Hamilton's Henry Burris, Edmonton's JC Sherritt, Montreal's Daryl Townsend and British Columbia's Andrew Harris have been named the Gibson's Finest CFL Players Of The Week for Week 5 of the season.

Burris completed 29-of-40 passes for 356 yards and four touchdowns in the Ticats 35-34 comeback win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders to capture the offensive award. He became the first quarterback to throw four touchdown passes in two consecutive games since Casey Printers accomplished the feat on October 16 and 22, 2005.

Sherritt earned defensive honors with a game-high 10 tackles on Thursday night at Canad Inns Stadium in a 23-22 loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Townsend took home the special teams award with a game-high four special teams tackles in a 23-20 loss to the Toronto Argonauts.

Harris was named the Canadian of the week after rushing for 55 yards on nine carries in the Lions 34-8 win over the Calgary Stampeders. He also caught five passes for 37 yards and two scores.
