REGINA -- The Saskatchewan Roughriders have solidified their defensive line, signing import defensive tackle Robert Rose.

The six-foot-five, 285-pound Cleveland native opened the season with the Hamilton Tiger Cats, appearing in eight games and registering seven tackles.

After spending four years at Ohio State, Rose signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks before being released and joining the Miami Dolphins' practice roster for the 2010 season.

The three-year pro joined the Tiger Cats late in the 2011 season, appearing in three games registering eight tackles and one sack.
