TSN's highly anticipated original documentary series ENGRAVED ON NATION kicked off with an average audience of more than half-a-million viewers (530,000) on Thanksgiving Monday for THE 13th MAN – making it the most-watched documentary ever on TSN.

Overall, more than 1.5 million Canadians tuned in to watch some or all of the broadcast on TSN.

Canadians were also engaged on Twitter, with #13thMan and #EngravedOnANation trending nationally throughout the broadcast.

CTV2 will air The 13th Man at 7pm on Saturday.

From documentary filmmaker Larry Weinstein, THE 13TH MAN examines the unique love affair between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and their fiercely loyal fans against the backdrop of the team's heartbreaking loss at the 97th Grey Cup.

THE 13TH MAN aired immediately following TSN's broadcast of the Saskatchewan-Toronto game on Monday. With an average audience of 1.057 million viewers, the game is the most-watched CFL regular season game to air in the past two years.

ENGRAVED ON A NATION on TSN continues with STONE THROWER: THE CHUCK EALEY STORY, premiering on Friday, Oct. 12 at 10:30 p.m. ET. Director Charles Officer, tells the emotional story of how an undefeated University of Toledo quarterback, Chuck Ealey, found refuge in Canada and the CFL in the face of racial intolerance in the United States.

Commissioned by Bell Media, ENGRAVED ON A NATION celebrates the 100th Grey Cup with eight documentaries demonstrating how one of the oldest trophies in professional sport has played an intrinsic role in shaping Canada's history and national identity.
