BC Lions receiver Shawn Gore worked out for the New York Jets and New England Patriots this week, and may have more NFL workouts scheduled for next week.

The non-import pass catcher is coming off a season in which he recorded 61 catches for 720 yards and five touchdowns. In three years with the Lions, the 25-year-old has 121 catches for 1,556 yards.

Gore attended training camp with the Green Bay Packers prior to signing with BC in 2010. The Toronto native and Bishop's product helped the Lions win the Grey Cup in 2011.

Gore is the second Lion known to have drawn interest from an NFL team after it was reported last week that backup QB Mike Reilly was on the Jacksonville Jaguars radar.
