It appears the B.C. Lions loss is the Cleveland Browns gain.
The Browns have reportedly signed Lions' linebacker Solomon Elimimian to a reserve/future contract.
However, the Lions deny the report, saying Elimimian can't sign elsewhere until his current CFL contract expires on February 15.
The 26-year-old tried his luck in the NFL last off-season before being released by the Browns after one day and returning to the Lions midway through the year.
Injuries combined with the emergence of Adam Bighill led to a less-than-spectacular year for Elimimian, who finished the season with 12 tackles.
