Marc Trestman has already packed his bags and headed south.

The question now is whether or not any other CFL coaches will follow him to Chicago to join his Bears coaching staff.

"There will be some guys coming down south," said Trestman during his introductory press conference with the Bears on Thursday.

The Bears have yet to make any announcements regarding any new assistant coaches joining the team from the CFL but Alouettes offensive co-ordinator and offensive line coach, Pat Meyer, and special-teams co-ordinator/assistant head coach, Andy Bischoff, appear to be the most likely to join Trestman in Chicago.

In fact, the Chicago Sun-Times reported, according to a source, that Meyer had already been offered a position by the Bears.

Another potential candidate to be heading south is Toronto Argonauts head coach Scott Milanovich, who was the offensive co-ordinator under Trestman in Montreal from 2008-2011 before taking over with the Argonauts last season.

Brad Biggs, who covers the Bears for the Chicago Tribune, tweeted, "one source told me Argonauts head coach Scott Milanovich, former Maryland QB, could possibly join #Bears staff."

However, at this point there does not appear to have been any contact between the Bears and Milanovich.

"Scott has not mentioned anything to us about pursuing another job," said Argonauts general manager Jim Barker.

Milanovich signed an extension with the Argonauts on Nov. 8, 2012, less than a year after joining the team from Montreal.

He capped his first season as the Argonauts head coach by leading the team to victory in the 100th Grey Cup.
