REGINA -- Saskatchewan Roughriders fullback Graeme Bell is going out a champ.

Bell is retiring after winning the Grey Cup with the Roughriders in November.

The five-foot-11, 230-pound University of Saskatchewan product appeared in 97 regular season games over nine CFL seasons.

Bell signed as a free agent with Winnipeg in 2005 before joining Edmonton in 2009. He was then acquired by Saskatchewan in 2011

The 33-year-old registered 18 career carries for 66 yards and one touchdown while adding seven receptions for 28 yards and two touchdowns.

He also had 60 career special teams tackles.

In other roster moves, the Roughriders re-signed non-import DB Paul Woldu and came to terms on a contract with non-import receiver Jade Etienne, acquired from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for QB Drew Willy.

Saskatchewan also released three players in LB Diamond Ferri, RB Chris Garrett, and DB Milt Collins.
