Ticats sign non-import defensive back Butler

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed free agent defensive back/linebacker Craig Butler on Tuesday 

Butler, a London, Ont. native, amassed 60 tackles, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries with the Grey Cup Champion Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2013.

The 26-year-old has spent the past three seasons with the Roughriders. Originally drafted in the second round (12th overall) by the Riders at the 2011 CFL Draft, Butler was named a CFL West All-Star in his rookie season.

In 53 career regular season games with the Roughriders, Butler has four sacks, 135 tackles, 11 interceptions and six fumble recoveries.
