With the current agreement set to expire at the end of the month, talks between the CFL and the Players' Association are set to resume this week.
According to TSN's Matthew Scianitti, a source close to the talks confirms the two sides will meet again on Wednesday in Toronto, eight days before current CBA expires.
Talks between the league and players took place late last week but neither side can agree on a functional revenue-sharing model.
"The (PA's strike) ballots are ready to be mailed out," said a source with knowledge of the negotiations, but who spoke on conditions of anonymity last week.
Training camps are set to open early next month and the regular season is scheduled to start June 26.
