Drew Willy was rewarded for playing his part in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' big Week 1 win while Ricky Foley took home two Players of the Week award.

After his 19-27, 308 yards and four touchdown performance in Winnipeg's surprise blowout win of the Toronto Argonauts, Willy was named the CFL Offensive Player of the Week. It was Willy's first game as starter in Winnipeg.

Foley had an equally impressive performance on the defensive side of the ball, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders DE earned both the Defensive and Canadian Player of the Week award for it.

Foley had six tackles including three sacks in the Roughriders' 31-10 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Toronto Argonauts WR/PR Chad Owens took home the Special Teams Player of the Week award after returning a punt 83 yards for a touchdown in the Argos' losing effort.
