The Hamilton Tiger-Cats' quarterback situation is getting worse.
Already without starter Zach Collaros due to a head injury, the club announced Tuesday that Dan LeFevour will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his left knee.
The 27-year-old suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss to the Calgary Stampeders. He will have surgery in the coming weeks.
"I'm disappointed for Dan, who was playing at a very high level for us this year," said head coach Kent Austin in a statement. "He is a man of great character and a tremendous competitor with a tireless work ethic, so we know he'll return stronger than ever after finishing his rehabilitation."
LeFevour has been the starter for Hamilton since Week 5 after Collaros - the starter going into the season - was injured in Week 2.
LeFevour has 1,670 passing yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 314 yards and four rushing touchdowns this season.
