The Toronto Argonauts have activated wide receiver Chad Owens from the six-game injured list.
He will be ready for the team's game against the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday.
Owens has been out since the team's Jul. 12 loss to the Calgary Stampeders where he sustained a foot injury on a punt return.
The 32-year-old has 28 receptions for 339 yards and one touchdown in three appearances for the Argos this season. He also has 12 punt returns for 207 yards and a touchdown.
At the time of his injury he was the league-leader in receiving and punt-return yards.
He has twice been named an East Division All-Star at receiver, earning CFL All-Star and Most Outstanding Player honours in 2012. That same year he helped lead the Argonauts to victory at the 100th Grey Cup, held in Toronto.
Owens has 333 career receptions for 3,954 yards and 12 touchdowns over six seasons with the Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes. He has 8,635 combined career return yards, including five touchdowns.
