Montreal Alouettes linebacker Rod Davis has undergone foot surgery, but the team still hopes he will be available for the Eastern Final.

Davis was on crutches after suffering the injury during Montreal's win over Saskatchewan on Saturday.

In his first season with the Alouettes, Davis has 35 tackles and five sacks and leads the club with three interceptions.

He played the first three seasons of his career for the Edmonton Eskimos.

The Alouettes have clinched first place in their division and will host the Eastern Final on Nov. 18 at Olympic Stadium.
