Calgary Stampeders head John Hufnagel said that middle linebacker Juwan Simpson felt better on Saturday and would be a game-time decision for the Western Final.

Simpson aggravated a right ankle injury last week against Saskatchewan and missed three days of practice this week. Hufnagel had originally rated him as doubtful for this week's game.

Deron Mayo would step in to replace Simpson if he is unable to play.

Simpson is one of Calgary's defensive captains and had 82 tackles and two sacks along with six special teams tackles this season.
