The Toronto Argonauts have released DE/LB Ejiro Kuale, a little over a week after winning the 100th Grey Cup.

Kuale, set to become a free agent in February, was granted his release early by the Argonauts so that he could pursue NFL opportunities before the February 15th free agency date, according to TSN CFL analyst Dave Naylor.

The three-year Argo played in 50 regular season games, four playoff games and the 100th Grey Cup. Kuale made 92 tackles over that time.

The Edmonton Eskimos released guard Devin Tyler on Tuesday as well, allowing for the import to pursue NFL opportunities as well.
