The B.C. Lions re-signed defensive back Gerard Lawson, receiver Keith Godding, defensive lineman Ekom Udofia, offensive lineman Ben Ossai, linebacker Glenn Love and quarterback Jarrett Brown on Tuesday.

All six finished the season on the club's practice roster and could have elected to become free agents under CFL rules.

"There was significant investment in these players during the season and this is a good way to start building towards training camp," said Lions player personnel coordinator Neil McEvoy.

Of the six, just Love saw action in a regular season game while both Udofia and Brown came to the Lions during the CFL's expanded practice roster period in October.
