MISSISSAUGA, Ont. -- The off-season house cleaning continues for the Toronto Argonauts.

The Argonauts released veteran safety Etienne Boulay on Wednesday, one day after cutting loose veteran kicker/punter Noel Prefontaine.

Boulay, a Montreal native, joined the Argos in the off-season and started 13 regular-season games for the club, registering five special-teams tackles.

He played in all three of Toronto's post-season games, including the Argos' 35-22 win over Calgary in the 100th Grey Cup. He made one special teams tackle and one defensive tackle in the championship match.

Prior to joining the Argos, Boulay spent six seasons with the Montreal Alouettes, winning East Division outstanding rookie honours in 2006.

The Argos also re-signed defensive lineman Donte Paige-Moss and signed linebacker Shane Horton.

Paige-Moss first signed with the Argonauts on Oct. 5, 2012. The North Carolina product spent two weeks on the team's practice roster before dressing for Toronto's final two regular-season games, recording a defensive tackle in each appearance.

Horton spent one year as a freshman at UNLV and three more at the University of Southern California. His father Myke played six games for the Argonauts in 1975, later becoming known as "Gemini" on the television show "American Gladiators".
