The Saskatchewan Roughriders made a number of roster moves on Tuesday, re-signing DL Tearrius George and releasing S James Patrick, K Sandro DeAngelis, and receiver Clay Cooke.

George was eligible for free agency in February but will instead return for his third season with the Roughriders. In six CFL seasons, George has 95 tackles and 21 sacks.

George originally signed with the Calgary Stampeders and also spent time with the NFL's Chicago Bears before joining Saskatchewan.

Patrick had been with the Roughriders for the past five seasons, picking up 227 tackles, 18 interceptions, and two quarterback sacks.

DeAngelis joined the Roughriders midway through last season before playing in 13 regular season games. The veteran was good on 30 of 39 field goal attempts.

Cooke spent most of last season on the Roughriders practice roster.
