Former Toronto Argonauts LB Ejiro Kuale has signed with the Montreal Alouettes.

Kuale was granted an early release by the Argonauts this off-season to pursue NFL opportunities, but will stay north of the border, inking a deal in Montreal. The Alouettes announced the deal is for three years.

The 29-year-old has spent the past three seasons with the Argonauts, and last year helped the team win the 100th Grey Cup, recording 38 tackles and one fumble recovery in the regular season.

A vocal leader for Toronto the past three years, Kuale has 92 career tackles in the CFL.
