One year after looking every bit the part of Grey Cup champions during the regular season before flaming out in the playoffs, the BC Lions are the favourite to complete the task in 2013.

Bodog released their odds for the upcoming season with the betting website making the Lions the favourite to eventually hoist the Grey Cup at 7/2. And if you're weary BC will once again fall flat in the post-season, the safer bet could be taking them to win the West Division; they are 5/4 favourites for that feat.

Odds makers favour a West team as champion this season with the Calgary Stampeders, last year's runner-up in the Grey Cup, given the second best Grey Cup odds at 4/1.

Call it a slight or perhaps it's the fact only one team in the past 15 years, and two in the past 30 have repeated Grey Cup wins, but the defending champion Toronto Argonauts have just the fourth highest odds to win it all at 11/2. The Montreal Alouettes are third with 9/2 odds to win the Grey Cup although the teams share top odds (33/20) to finish first in the East.

On the flip side, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have the longest odds to hoist the Grey Cup at 10/1, just ahead of the Edmonton Eskimos (9/1).
