If pre-season reviews hold true all year long, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats playing in Guelph will be a hug hit for the fans.

The college atmosphere of Hamilton's pre-season win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Alumni Stadium in Guelph was both unique and refreshing. It should be a fun ride for each of the Ticats eight regular season home games in Guelph.

But will it be taxing on the players?

The Tiger-Cats will continue to practice in Hamilton, at McMaster University, and travel to Guelph just to play games. They'll be without a home base for the entire year. Throw in a mid-September trip to New Brunswick for Touchdown Atlantic, and that equals a lot of running around for a team looking to improve on a disappointing 2012.

As Chris Schultz noted in his team previews, it could be an awkward season for the Black and Gold.

But while it may not be a home field advantage during the week, it certainly could be on game day. Alumni Stadium holds only 13,000 on Ticat game days, but it promises to be a boisterous 13,000.

The reviews of Alumni Stadium for Hamilton's lone appearance there this season were across the charts positive; game day will be fun for the fans, will it be as fun for the Ticats?

The Rouge asks: Can the Tiger-Cats be successful at their home away from home, Alumni Stadium? You've heard what we've had to say, now it's your turn.

As always, it's Your! Call.
