The BC Lions and offensive lineman Hunter Steward, the team's top pick in the 2013 CFL draft, have come to terms on a contract.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Steward, originally from Kingston, Ont., moved to Virginia Beach before his senior year of high school. He enrolled at Kellam High School in Virginia, began his college football career as a defensive tackle with the Virginia Cavaliers before transferring to Liberty University and converting to the offensive line.
