BOUCHERVILLE, Que. (CP) - Eric Neilson of the Rimouski Oceanic has had his suspension reduced to two games from three by the QMJHL.
Rimouski is in Halifax to begin the league final Thursday night against the Mooseheads.
Commissioner Gilles Courteau held a hearing on the suspension on Wednesday after the Oceanic appealed the suspension levied by Maurice Filion, the league's disciplinary head.
The suspension followed an incident during Game 4 of the Rimouski-Chicoutimi series.
