Jack Combs keeps on scoring, and the Saginaw Spirit keep on winning.
Combs broke a tie early in the third period to lift the surging Spirit to a 3-2 win over the Windsor Spitfires on Monday night in the OHL.
Combs scored his team-leading 26th goal at 1:53 of the period and the Spirit (17-14-3-1) held on from there to extend their season-high winning streak to six games. Combs has scored in each of those games, and has racked up 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) during a nine-game point-scoring streak.
The native of St. Louis has points in 19 of his past 20 games.

At Windsor, Ont., Chris Chappell and Brendan Taylor added singles while Ryan Daniels preserved the victory with a 32-save effort.
Adam Henrique and Bradley Snetsinger countered for the Spitfires (22-8-4-3), who have dropped two straight. Andrew Engelage stopped 27 shots in defeat.
