Trevor Cann stopped all 31 shots he faced Friday night and Pat Daley had the game's lone goal in the Peterborough Petes' 1-0 victory over the Ottawa 67's.
Cann, a second-round draft choice (49th overall) of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche in 2007, picked up his first shutout of the season and second of his OHL career to lead the Petes (26-32-0-3) to their second win in as many nights.
Cann also starred in their 3-2 victory over the Oshawa Generals on Thursday. Before that, Peterborough had lost six straight.
Daley's power-play goal, late in the first period against his former team, stood up behind the flawless performance of Cann.
"There's been some rough times this year and these past two games have been good," Cann said. "I've just got to keep it up and I can't get a big head here. I've just got to stay focused and keep going."

At Ottawa, Chris Perugini made 21 saves at the other end for the 67's (26-29-2-3), who have lost two straight and five of the last six games.
Before the game, the 67's held a moment of silence and showed a video tribute on their scoreboard in honour of Mickey Renaud, the Windsor Spitfires' captain who died suddenly on Feb. 18 from unknown causes at the age of 19.
