The Baie-Comeau Drakkar took another step toward claiming the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's West Division title with a 2-1 win over the Quebec Remparts on Wednesday.
Benjamin Breault and Samuel Morneau scored for the Drakkar, who moved three points ahead of idle Rouyn-Noranda atop the West Division standings. Baie-Comeau still has one more game to play than Rouyn-Noranda.
Samuel Groulx replied for Quebec.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Drummondville 8 Val-d'Or 4, St. John's 3 Moncton 2 and Rimouski 4 P.E.I. 1.
At Baie-Comeau, Que., Marco Cousineau made 29 saves for Baie-Comeau (44-16-2-4). Jonathan Roy stopped 25 shots for Quebec (36-26-1-3).

At Val-d'Or, Que., Etienne Bellavance-Martin had two goals and an assist as Drummondville skated to a rare road win.
Philippe Lefebvre, with two, Charles Landry, Garrett Peters, Jonathan Lessard and Benoit Levesque also scored for the Voltigeurs (12-49-2-3).
Jason Legault, Maxime Sauve, Marco Scandella and Maxime Levesque replied for the Foreurs (26-31-3-6).
Fog Devils 3 Wildcats 2
At Moncton, N.B., Samuel Grenache scored all three of St. John's goals in a win over the Wildcats.
The Fog Devils improved to 31-27-1-7.
Adam Bezak scored both goals for Moncton (21-31-4-9).
Oceanic 4 Rocket 1
At Rimouski, Que., Patrice Cormier and Philippe Cornet each had a goal and an assist as the Oceanic beat P.E.I.
Maxime Gratchev and Michael Frolik also socred for Rimouski (30-34-1-0).
Benjamin Casavant replied for the Rocket (28-34-2-1).
