Ryan Mior was solid or Gatineau, stopping 32 of 33 shots he faced. Claude Giroux assisted on both goals.
Elsewhere in QMJHL playoff action, it was: Huskies 7, Sea Dogs 5.
At Halifax, Jakub Voracek scored for the Mooseheads, his fifth of the playoffs.

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Tyler Hawes, Hugo Carpentier, Yannick Riendeau and Pier-Luc Giguere each scored a goal and an assist to lead the Huskies over Saint John, taking a 2-0 series lead in their semifinal.
Jeff Desjardins, Michael Dubuc and Marc-Andre Bourdon also tallied for Rouyn-Noranda.
Scott Howes had a goal and two assists to lead the Sea Dogs, while Pascal Amyot, Christopher DiDomenico, Alexandre Picard-Hooper and Ryan Sparling also tallied.
Game 3 is Tuesday in Saint John, N.B.
