SHAWINIGAN, Que. - Nicholas Petersen had three goals and two assists to lead the Shawinigan Cataractes to a 7-1 rout of the Victoriaville Tigres in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Tuesday.
Pierre-Alexandre Vandall, Dave Labrecque, Charles-Olivier Roussel and Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll added goals for Shawinigan (3-2-0-0).
David Cliche had the lone goal for Victoriaville (2-3-0-0).
Shawinigan's Gabriel Girard made 25 saves for the win, while Loic Boivin and Antonio Mastropietro combined for 30 stops at the other end.
