QMJHL: D'Orso outstanding as Foreurs shutdown Junior

VAL-D'OR, Que. - Raffaele D'Orso was spectacular, stopping all 48 shots he faced, as the Val-d'Or Foreurs blanked the Montreal Junior 3-0 on Tuesday in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Jonathan Hazen scored twice, and Keven Guerette-Charland added his 16th of the year for Val-d'Or (12-31-3-4), which went 1-for-3 with the extra attacker.

Marco Scandella chipped in with two assists.

Jake Allen took the loss in net for Montreal (24-20-1-2), stopping 25 of 28 shots.

At Rimouski, Que., Drew Paris registered a hat trick and scored in the shootout, but it wasn't enough as Oceanic escaped with a 4-3 win over the Sagueneens.

Jordan Caron and Marc-Andre Bourdon had a goal and an assist each for Rimouski, while Patrice Cormier and Emmanuel Boudreau also added singles.

Olivier Fortier scored the deciding shootout goal for Oceanic.

Francois Levesque stopped 30 of 34 for Chicoutimi (16-23-4-5).

Maxim Gougeon made 29 saves for Rimouski (27-22-1-0).
