QMJHL: Kuliko, Riendeau lift Drummondville over Moncton

Dmitry Kuliko and Yannick Riendeau each scored a goal and an assist as the Drummondville Voltigeurs rallied in the third period for a 3-2 victory over the Moncton Wildcats on Tuesday in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Down 2-1 going into the third period, Kuliko tied it at 4:12 before Riendeau scored the game-winner at 16:05 for his 43rd of the year.

Mike Hoffman also scored for the Voltigeurs (43-9-0-3), who lead the Central Division and have already secured a playoff berth.

Zach Sill and Adam Bezak scored for the Atlantic Division-leading Wildcats (40-10-2-3), who have also secured a spot in the post-season.

In Tuesday's only other QMJHL game, it was Laval 3-2 over Halifax in a shootout.

At Moncton, N.B., Marco Cousineau made 24 saves for Drummondville.

Nicola Riopel was busy in net for Moncton, stopping 40 of 43 shots.

Titan 3, Mooseheads 2 (SO)

At Halifax, Nicholas Champion made 34 saves including two in shootout to backstop Acadie-Bathurst to a win over the Mooseheads.

Vincent Couture and Taylor Lambke scored for Titan (20-25-5-5).

Justin Pender and Linden Bahm counted for Halifax (15-33-3-3).
