QMJHL: Two have five-point nights as Rocket beat Mooseheads

Joel Champagne scored two goals and added three assists and Benjamin Casavant added a goal and four assists as the P.E.I. Rocket beat the Halifax Mooseheads 7-5 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Wednesday.

Simon Olsson had two goals and two assists for the playoff-bound Rocket (25-32-4-5). Ben Duffy and Stuart Lenehan also scored.

Tomas Knotek, Alexis Piette, Graham Bona, Gabriel Desjardins and Tomas Knotek replied for Halifax (18-40-3-4).

Elsewhere in the QMJHL, Quebec beat Baie-Comeau 5-2.

At Charlottetown, Evan Mosher made 40 saves for P.E.I. while Mark Yetman and Mathieu Corbeil-Theriault combined for 26 stops for Halifax.

Remparts 5 Drakkar 2

At Baie-Comeau, Que., Mikhail Stefanovich had three goals and an assist as Quebec beat the Drakkar.

Dmitri Kugryshev and Benjamin Breault also scored for Quebec (49-14-0-3).

Felix Petit and Pierre-Luc Lessard replied for Baie-Comeau (21-36-7-2).
