MEDICINE HAT, Alta. -- With their backs against the wall, the Medicine Hat Tigers dumped the visiting Swift Current Broncos 3-0 in game six of their Western Hockey League Eastern Conference quarter-final series on Sunday night.
Ryan Holfeld made 22 saves to earn his first career WHL playoff shutout for Medicine Hat, which tied the best-of-seven series at 3-3. The seventh and deciding game is set for Tuesday in Swift Current, Sask.
Brennan Bosch scored twice for the Tigers, while Zdenek Okal added a goal.
Travis Yonkman stopped 18 shots suffering the loss in goal for Swift Current.
