OWEN SOUND, Ont. -- Garrett Wilson scored once and added a pair of assists as the Owen Sound Attack cruised to a 5-2 win over the Sarnia Sting in Wednesday's lone Ontario Hockey League game.
Wilson, 18, set up goals by Joey Hishon and Josh Moes as the Attack (1-2-0) broke out to a 4-1 lead after 20 minutes. The left-winger added his first goal of the season on an Owen Sound power-play with 1:22 left in the second period.
Marcus Carroll and Mike Lomas also scored for the Attack, while Steven Shipley and Geoffrey Schemitsch added two assists apiece. Owen Sound finished 3-for-6 with the man advantage.
Steve Reece and JC Campagna replied for the Sting (0-1-1), who went 1-for-6 on the power play.
Scott Stajcer turned aside 32 shots to earn the win for the Attack.
Jesse Raymond stopped 35 shots in defeat for Sarnia.
