MONCTON - With the game on his stick, Scott Brannon didn't disappoint.
Moncton's captain scored on a penalty shot with no time remaining in the third period to give the Wildcats a 4-3 victory over the resilient Rimouski Oceanic in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Friday night.
Brannon and Pierre-Marc Lessard each scored twice for Moncton (5-1-1).
Lessard's second goal -- scored on a power play midway through the third period -- gave the Wildcats a 3-0 lead, but the Oceanic fought back with three straight goals, tying the game with 48 seconds remaining on Emmanuel Boudreau's second of the season.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Quebec 9, Baie-Comeau 1; Victoriaville 4, Shawinigan 3 (SO); Cape Breton 5, Acadie-Bathurst 4; Gatineau 9, Chicoutimi 2; P.E.I. 5, Val-d'Or 2; and Montreal 7, Saint John 4.
At Moncton, Randy Cameron added a pair of assists for the Wildcats, while Louis Domingue made 20 saves to earn the win.
Patrick Delisle-Houde and Petr Straka added goals for Rimouski (2-4-2) and netminder Philippe Tremblay stopped 29 shots in a losing effort.

Remparts 9, Drakkar 1
At Quebec, nine different Remparts found the net in a drubbing of Baie-Comeau.
Jonathan Audy-Marchessault and Danick Paquette both had a goal and two assists for Quebec (6-1-2), while Samuel Groulx, David Gilbert and Martin Lefebvre each added a goal and an assist.
Guillaume Goulet had the lone reply for the Drakkar (2-5-1).

Tigres 4, Cataractes 3 (SO)
At Victoriaville, Que., Brandon Hynes opened the scoring and scored the only goal in the shootout as the Tigres outlasted Shawinigan.
Joel Chouinard and Philip-Michael Devos also scored in regulation for Victoriaville (6-2-1).
Michael Bournival scored twice and Philippe Paradis added another for the Cataractes (3-2-1).

Screaming Eagles 5, Titan 4
At Bathurst, N.B., Stephen Horyl capped a two-goal night by scoring the game-winner with 23 seconds remaining as Cape Breton edged the Titan.
Patrick Lapostolle, Luke Adam and Logan Shaw also scored for the Screaming Eagles (3-2-2), who rallied from a four-goal deficit midway through the second period, scoring five straight goals in the next 30 minutes.
Eric Faille, Derek Famulare, Jeremie Malouin and Jonathan Lessard found the net for Acadie-Bathurst (3-3-2).

Olympics 9, Sagueneens 2
At Gatineau, Que., Alexandre Quesnel and Christian Ouellet-Martel both scored twice and added an assist as the Olympiques hammered Chicoutimi.
Alexandre Touchette added a goal and two assists, while Thomas Middup, Steven Delisle, Vincent Barnard and Olivier Croteau also scored for Gatineau (6-2-0).
Nicolas Deschamps and Michal Hlinka replied for the Sagueneens (2-4-2).

At Val-d'Or, Que., Jordan Escott scored a hat trick and added an assist to lead P.E.I. past the Foreurs.
Jeremi Janneteau and Joel Champagne also scored for the Rocket (5-2-2).
Keven Guerette-Charland and Maxime Sauve replied for Val-d'Or (3-6-1).

At Montreal, Eliezer Sherbatov and Loic Poudrier both had two-goal nights as the Junior topped Saint John.
Nicolas Chouinard had a goal and two assists for Montreal (5-3-0), while Marc-Andre Levasseur and Chris Thorne also scored.
Yann Sauve, Alexandre Leduc, Zack Phillips and Steven Anthony scored for the Sea Dogs (5-3-0).
