Goaltender Olivier Roy joined an exclusive club Sunday afternoon.
Roy made 23 saves to lead the Acadie-Bathurst Titan to a 3-2 win against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
The win was Roy 100th in the QMJHL, making him only the sixth goaltender in league history to reach the benchmark.
The victory was against a familiar foe: Roy started his QMJHL career with the Screaming Eagles, earning 94 of his wins in a Cape Breton sweater.
Jacques Cloutier is the league's all-time leader with 142 wins, followed by Adam Russo (110), Mathieu Chouinard (104), Jean-Francois Labbe (103) and Maxime Ouellet (101).
Roy was picked 133rd overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2009 National Hockey League entry draft and played three games with their American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Falcons, last season.
He was the QMJHL's rookie of the year in 2008 and was named to the Canadian Hockey League's All-Rookie team that same year.
