Christian Thomas had two goals and two assists as the Oshawa Generals lit up the Kingston Frontenacs 10-1 in the second game of their Ontario Hockey League Eastern Conference quarter-final series Friday.
Alain Berger and Lucas Lessio both scored twice as Oshawa won by a wide margin for the second straight night. The Generals downed Kingston 7-3 on Thursday.
The Generals lead the series 2-0 and will host Game 3 on Sunday.
Ryan Spooner gave the Frontenacs a 1-0 lead 7:27 into the game.
Thomas scored his first of the night just 51 seconds later and Oshawa's deluge didn't let up for the rest of the game.
Kingston was clearly frustrated with the lopsided game, taking 42 minutes in penalties. The Generals were significantly more disciplined, only spending 15 minutes in the penalty box.
Spooner scored on the Frontenacs' only power play, while Oshawa went 3-for-13 with the man advantage.
Elsewhere in the OHL it was: Saginaw 3 Guelph 2; Owen Sound 3 London 2 (OT) and Plymouth 6 Kitchener 5.
At Kingston, Ont., Cody Payne, J.P. Labardo, Andy Andreoff and Nicklas Jensen rounded out the attack for Oshawa. Peter Di Salvo made 25 saves to earn the win.
Frontenacs goaltender Franky Palazzese stopped 15 of 22 shots in the first two periods. Nathan Perry started the third period for Kingston, stopping 16 of 19 shots in 20 minutes of work.

Spirit 3 Storm 2
At Saginaw, Mich., Josh Shalla and Vincent Trocheck scored third-period goals as the Spirit rallied to beat Guelph.
Ryan O'Connor also scored and Ivan Telegin added two assists. Shalla and Trocheck had two-point games as well for the Spirit.
Taylor Beck and Francis Menard scored for Guelph and the Storm led 2-1 after two periods before the Spirit mounted a third period comeback.
Game 2 is in Guelph on Sunday afternoon.

Attack 3 Knights 2 (OT)
At Owen Sound, Ont., captain Garrett Wilson scored twice, including in overtime, as the Attack topped London.
Robby Mignardi also scored for Owen Sound, while Jordan Binnington earned the win with 21 saves.
Goaltender Michael Houser was superb for London, stopping 49 of 52 shots. Jared Knight opened the scoring for the Knights and captain Stephen Sanza followed up with a power-play goal midway through the game.
The Attack lead the Western Conference best-of-seven quarter-final series 1-0. Game 2 will be in London, Ont., on Saturday.

Whalers 6 Rangers 5
At Kitchener, Ont., the Rangers lost their eighth game in a row as they fell to Plymouth in the opening game of their best-of-seven Western Conference quarter-final series.
Tyler Brown and Jamie Devane both scored and added two assists for Plymouth, while Stefan Noesen, Dario Trutmann and captain Beau Schmitz chipped in as well.
Top prospect Gabriel Landeskog led the Rangers with two goals and an assist, while Matthew Tipoff had a pair of goals as well. Michael Catenacci scored and had two assists.
Game 2 is on Saturday night in Plymouth, Mich.
