LETHBRIDGE, Alta. -- Nick Buonassisi was traded to the Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday from the Lethbridge Hurricanes for a fifth round draft pick in 2014.
The 20-year-old overage forward scored 14 goals and added 31 assists in 59 games with Lethbridge last season. Buonassisi also had 62 penalty minutes and was a minus-9.
The Hurricanes acquired Buonassisi last October from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for defenceman Reid Jackson.
