Morgan Klimchuk got it done in regulation time and overtime on Wednesday.
Klimchuk's second goal of the night lifted the Regina Pats to a 4-3 overtime win over the host Swift Current Broncos in Western Hockey League action.
Klimchuk scored 2:09 into the extra period to complete the comeback win as Regina (1-2-0) erased a 3-0 first period deficit for its first win of the season.
Trent Ouellette had scored with 5:05 remaining to tie the game and force the extra period.
Swift Current (1-0-2) outshot Regina 23-7 in the first period and got goals from Josh Derko, Zac Mackay, and Justin Spagrud to lead 3-0 after 20 minutes of play.
Derko and Spagrud scored on the power play as Swift Current finished 2-for-5 with the man advantage.
Lane Scheidl and Klimchuk scored second-period goals to get the Pats back in the game. Klimchuk's first goal came on the power play as Regina finished 1-for-3 with the extra man.
Matt Hewitt made 38 saves for the win, while Eetu Laurikainen stopped 20 of 24 shots.
Elsewhere in the WHL it was: Edmonton 3 Lethbridge 0 and Brandon 9 Saskatoon 6.

At Lethbridge, Alta., Tristan Jarry made 20 saves as Edmonton blanked the Hurricanes.
Henrik Samuelsson had a goal and an assist for Edmonton (3-0-0), while T.J. Foster and Curtis Lazar also scored.
Ty Rimmer stopped 57 shots for Lethbridge (1-2-0).
Wheat Kings 9 Blades 6
At Brandon, Man., Jens Meilleur and Alessio Bertaggia had two goals and an assist each as the Wheat Kings defeated Saskatoon.
Nick Buonassisi and Ryan Pulock added a goal and two assists each for the Wheat Kings (3-0-0). Tyler Yaworski scored two goals, including an empty-netter, while Jason Swyripa rounded out the Brandon scoring.
Josh Nicholls had two goals and an assist for the Blades (1-1-0), while Matt Revel, Nick Zajac, Matej Stransky and Lukas Sutter also scored.
