Joel Vienneau helped the Sudbury Wolves step up on Sunday after a disappointing loss Saturday night.

Vienneau made 34 saves for a shutout as Sudbury blanked the Brampton Battalion 2-0 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Sudbury's win came less than 24 hours after letting a late third-period 5-1 lead slip away to the Niagara IceDogs, falling 6-5 in a shootout.

"Definitely a huge win for us after what happened last night," said Brody Silk, who scored a power-play goal for the Wolves on Sunday. "Guys are feeling pretty good."

Nicholas Baptiste also scored with the man advantage for Sudbury (10-14-3).

Elsewhere in the OHL it was: Belleville 3 Ottawa 0; Owen Sound 6 Mississauga 1; Oshawa 3 Niagara 1 and Kingston 4 Windsor 3.

At Brampton, Ont., the Wolves got on the board 6:14 into the first period when Silk redirected Charlie Dodero's point shot past Machovsky.

The visitors added to their lead at the 1:33 mark of the second when Baptiste poked in a rebound while at the side of the net.

Brandon Robinson almost brought the home side to within one minutes later but his wristshot from the left wing face-off circle caught the crossbar.

Sudbury went 2-for-5 on the power play while Brampton failed to capitalize on nine opportunities with the man advantage.

Bulls 3 67's 0

At Belleville, Ont., Malcolm Subban made 23 saves for the Bulls (14-8-3) as they picked up a shutout victory over Ottawa (7-18-2). Subban's shutout was the second of the year for the Boston Bruins' first-round draft pick.
