MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Curtis Valk scored two goals and set up one more as the Medicine Hat Tigers came from behind to defeat the visiting Saskatoon Blades 6-4 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Kyle Becker also scored twice for the Tigers (8-3-2), who trailed 3-1 early in the second period, while Steven Owre and Markus Eisenschmid added a goal apiece.
Nathan Burns led the Blades (7-7-2) offensively with two goals and Matt Revel had a goal and an assist. Cory Millette scored once to round out Saskatoon's offence.
Daniel Wapple made 34 saves for Medicine Hat as Alex Moodie stopped 42 shots in defeat for the Blades.
The Tigers went 2 for 4 on the power play while Saskatoon scored once on two chances with the man advantage.

CRANBROOK, B.C. -- Jaedon Descheneau scored twice and Jeff Hubic had three assists as Kootenay slipped past Moose Jaw.

Everett's Austin Lotz made 24 saves for the win as Taran Kozun stopped 29 shots for Kamloops.

Pavel Padakin scored the shootout winner for the Hitmen (10-3-3) and Brady Brassart had two assists.
