Austin Kennedy threw six touchdowns as the No. 10 Windsor Lancers hammered the Ottawa Gee Gees 63-18 in Canadian University Sports football action Monday.

Kennedy found Jordan Brescacin in the end zone three times, including a 55-yard strike to open the scoring less than five minutes into the first quarter.

Evan Pszczonak, Mark Riggi and Dylan Whitfield also had receiving touchdowns for Windsor, while Gilbert Stewart and Mitch Dender added scores in the ground.

Kennedy completed 31-of-41 pass attempts for 482 yards and threw no interceptions.

Elsewhere, McMaster routed Guelph 50-9, Western thumped Waterloo 54-10, Queen's cruised past York 48-13, and Toronto shutout Laurier 19-0.

At Windsor, Ont., Brescacin finished with 214 receiving yards for Windsor (1-0), while Pszczonak added 129.

Mack Tommy and Franck Ngandui had rushing touchdowns for Ottawa (0-1).

Ottawa quarterback Aaron Colbon struggled, completing just six passes on 16 attempts for 122 yards. His running game was more successful as he had game-high 84 rushing yards.

No. 1 McMaster 50 Guelph 9

At Hamilton, Kyle Quinlan threw three touchdown passes as the 2011 national champion Marauders (1-0) rolled up more than 500 yards in offence while thrashing the Gryphons (0-1). With McMaster leading 2-0 on a safety, Guelph posted the first major of the game when Lindsay connected with Michael Fortino on a 62-yard strike midway through the first quarter handing the Gryphons an early 7-2 lead. That would be the only major Guelph would muster as the Marauders would dominate both offensively and defensively from that point on.

At Kingston, Ont., Ryan Granberg rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns and Alex Carroll returned a punt 79 yards for a TD for the Gaels (1-0), who cruised by the Lions (0-1).

Granberg scored twice in the first quarter, as the Gaels led 19-0 after 15 minutes. It was 35-0 at the half, and Queen's led by as many as 42 points before York scored twice in the late stages.

Toronto 19 Laurier 0

At Toronto, Richard Quittenton threw for 157 yards and ran for two touchdowns as the Varsity Blues (1-0) defeated the visiting Golden Hawks (0-1) for the first time since 1996.
