REGINA -- Korissa Williams scored 14 points and Jessica Clemencon had a double-double as the top-ranked Windsor Lancers beat the Ottawa Gee-Gees 56-46 to advance to the semifinals of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport women's basketball championships Friday.

The Lancers pulled away with a 12-0 run over a six-minute span late in the third quarter and into the fourth to turn a tie game into the first double-digit lead of the game.

Clemencon had 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while Miah-Marie Langlois added 13 points.

Tatiana Hanlan led Ottawa with 10 points.

"They're a tough team, and we're a tough team," Windsor head coach Chantal Vallee said. "We knew it would come down to the wire. We're ready, the team didn't panic, and we did what we needed to do to win."

Windsor will play the Calgary Dinos in the semifinals on Saturday. The Dinos advanced after beating the Carleton Ravens 59-51 on the strength of four three-pointers and 14 points from Kristie Sheils.

The other semi will feature the tournament host Regina Cougars against the Saint Mary's Huskies.

Lindsey Ledingham and Michelle Clark had 15 points each for Regina in a 68-53 win over the McGill Martlets.

Justine Colley scored a game-high 17 points for the Huskies, who advanced with a 62-57 win over the Fraser Valley Cascades.
